Rosemary Totten
Executive Director

Being the Director of Tacoma Day has been the most rewarding not to mention challenging experience of my life. I received my BA from Central Washington University in Sociology and was drawn toward working with children. My first teaching job was in the preschool arena. I studied and completed courses in ECE. I became one of the first 50 in the State of Washington to receive my CDA competency credential. Today, 33 years later, I am still amazed, excited and humbled to be working with children. I was drawn to the philosophy of Tacoma Day and over the years I realize it has beome mine.
